SnapWorth ("we", "our", or "us") operates the SnapWorth mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.
We collect photos you submit for valuation. Photos are sent to our server, processed by an AI model to identify the item and estimate resale value, and are not stored after the response is returned.
We collect an anonymous device identifier (UUID) solely for rate-limiting purposes (20 scans per hour). This ID is not linked to your identity.
We collect anonymous usage analytics to understand how the app is used and improve it. Using TelemetryDeck, we record in-app events — such as opening the app, starting a scan, viewing the paywall, and completing a purchase — along with your device model, operating system version, app version, and locale. A one-way salted hash is used as an anonymous identifier. This data contains no photos, item names, prices, or advertising identifiers (IDFA), is not linked to your identity, and is never used to track you across other apps or websites. You can turn analytics off at any time in the app's Settings.
Photos are used only to generate the valuation response you requested. Analytics data is used only in aggregate to understand usage and improve the app. We do not sell, rent, or share your photos, device identifier, or analytics data with third parties, except as required by law.
Photos and scan results are processed in real time and are not retained on our servers. Scan history is stored locally on your device and can be deleted at any time from the app's Settings.
SnapWorth is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page.
